Protecting land and livelihoods in Madagascar

This video shows the efforts of the GEF in Madagascar addressing the most pressing environmental needs related to the predominant tree cover loss (90 percent over the last 50 years) due to deforestation, followed by the subsequent erosion of soil, siltation in rice fields, resulting in a severe threat to biodiversity.
