8th GEF Assembly Delegate Application

This call aims to identify qualified, diverse, and regionally representative CSO delegates for sponsorship to the 8th GEF Assembly. Selected participants must be available to arrive by the evening of June 1 and fully engage through June 7, 2026.

Delegates are expected to actively participate in the pre-Assembly CSO orientation, Whole of Society session, Civil Society Forum, Assembly plenaries, roundtables.

English proficiency is important for full participation in all sessions and at least 20 applications will be selected, ensuring regional diversity.

Women are strongly encouraged to apply.

To be eligible, applicants must be affiliated with a registered non-profit organization, NGO, or civil society organization and demonstrate active alignment with, or experience in, one or more of the GEF focal areas. Priority will be given to current members in good standing of the GEF CSO Network.

Applicants who are not yet members should demonstrate engagement with GEF-funded or related programming, express a clear intention to become a member of the GEF CSO Network, and show a commitment to actively contributing to the Network.
